Description

Ferinthria Everflame is a soft-featured elf with freckled cheeks, bright green eyes, and wavy pink hair that falls just past her chin. She wears a finely embroidered green cloak over a belted tunic and trousers, blending elegance with practicality. Her expression is calm and warm, and there’s a subtle glow of magic in the air around her.

Background

Ferinthria was born in Balandel to Thandril Everflame and Sylara Everflame, but her family left the grand elven capital when she was young. Her parents were free spirits who found city life stifling—they settled in a small commune of like-minded souls in the forests outside Fadrín, living off the land and following a simple, peaceful way of life.

From birth, Ferinthria was different. She came into the world with bright pink hair and vivid green eyes that no one could explain, and wild magic followed soon after—sparks dancing from her fingertips, objects moving when she was upset. Her parents loved her unconditionally but never truly understood her gifts. They taught her to breathe, to center herself, but the magic was always unpredictable.

As a teenager, she began making trips into Fadrín, finding friends and acceptance among the blue-skinned mountain elves. The wider world called to her in ways her parents’ quiet grove never could. When word reached the forests that Lord Elrin Kael was hiring adventurers to investigate mysterious disappearances in Southaven, Ferinthria knew it was time. Her parents were sad but understood—some birds are meant to fly far from the nest.

Though kind-hearted, she is not naive. She understands the darkness that lurks in the world and is willing to stand against it. Her wild magic remains unpredictable, surging beyond her control in moments of emotion or crisis, but she has learned to embrace it as part of who she is.

In Southaven, she gained an unexpected companion—a wolf she freed from the grip of cultists and named Leonard Chesterwolfe. The two formed a deep bond, and Leonard became a constant presence at her side. However, during a resurrection ceremony in Lusteris, they lost him under mysterious and painful circumstances. The grief still lingers in her, tempered by resolve as she seeks to understand what truly happened and whether some part of him might yet remain.

Story

Ferinthria’s journey began in Southaven, where she freed a wolf from the grip of cultists and named him Leonard Chesterwolfe. The bond between them was immediate and deep—Leonard became her constant companion, a loyal presence through every danger the party faced.

The adventure in Lusteris changed everything. During a chaotic rooftop escape from Baern Ironfist, Ferinthria nearly plummeted to her death. In that desperate moment, radiant wings burst from her back, revealing her Aasimar heritage to the party for the first time. But the city also brought tragedy: during a resurrection ceremony, Leonard was lost under mysterious circumstances. The grief still weighs on her heart, though a cryptic message from Lyrian Brightwind—“Tell Ferinthria I found Leonard”—offers hope that her companion might yet be found somewhere in the city.

Her wild magic remains unpredictable, sometimes manifesting in bizarre ways. After the Queen’s trial, a surge accidentally transformed her into a marijuana plant; ever resourceful, she made gummies from the leaves and offered them to the perpetually anxious Talan Windfern, who has been noticeably calmer ever since.

At Aramond’s Lookout, when Talan was poisoned by Sythara’s serpent form and all other healing failed, Ferinthria sensed something was wrong. She abandoned pursuit of a fleeing cultist and channeled holy energy into the dying druid. It worked—barely. Her quick thinking and divine magic were the only things standing between Talan and death.

Now bound by Sythara’s vow of silence alongside her companions, Ferinthria carries secrets she cannot speak, and questions about Leonard that remain unanswered.
