Description
Thandril Everflame is an aging wood elf with long, graying hair worn loose and often tangled with leaves or small twigs. His eyes are a warm amber, and his face is weathered but kind. He wears simple, earth-toned clothing—hand-woven tunics and patched trousers—and often goes barefoot. There’s a gentleness to his movements and a peacefulness in his expression that suggests a man entirely at ease with himself and the world.
Personality
Thandril is patient, thoughtful, and deeply attuned to the natural world. He believes in living simply, in harmony with the land, and in letting things grow in their own time. He speaks slowly and deliberately, often pausing to consider his words. He is not naive—he understands that the world contains darkness—but he has chosen to focus on cultivating light wherever he can.
He loves his daughter Ferinthria with his whole heart, even though he has never fully understood her wild magic or the celestial spark within her. He has always trusted that she would find her own path.
Background
Thandril was born in Balandel, but the grand elven capital never suited him. He found the politics stifling and the expectations exhausting. When he met Sylara, he found a kindred spirit—someone who shared his longing for a simpler life.
Together, they left Balandel and eventually settled in a small community of like-minded souls in the forests outside Fadrín. The commune lives off the land, growing their own food and making their own clothes. Thandril spends his days tending gardens, carving small wooden figures, and meditating beneath the trees.
When Ferinthria was born with pink hair and wild magic, Thandril was bewildered but never frightened. He did his best to help her find calm and center, even though he couldn’t truly understand what she was experiencing. When she left to answer the call to Southaven, he gave her a carved wooden charm and told her to follow her heart.
He misses her terribly, but he trusts that she is exactly where she needs to be.
