Her hands move with practiced efficiency, shaping dough and decorating pastries with the precision of decades of experience. Despite the early mornings and long hours, her expression is always warm and welcoming.

Miraen is nurturing, practical, and quietly fierce in her support of those she loves. She has a sharp wit that emerges in gentle teasing, and she keeps the bakery running with quiet efficiency. Though she worries about her daughter Lirielle out in the dangerous world, she has never once asked her to come home—she knows her daughter was meant for more than a quiet life in Fadrín.
Background
Miraen runs the Starweave Bakery in Fadrín alongside her husband Caelith. She is the one who first noticed Lirielle’s magical potential—strange dreams, small objects moving when she was upset, an uncanny sense of when customers would arrive. Miraen insisted they find a proper teacher for their daughter, and was the one who arranged for Master Thorin Aladar to take Lirielle as a student.
She keeps a small portrait of Lirielle behind the bakery counter and tells stories of her daughter’s adventures to any customer who will listen—though she admits she doesn’t fully understand what a “diviner” does.
